I've been wrenching on farm equipment for thirty years and I've owned Snap-on, Craftsman, and everything in between. This Tekton set won't replace my premium sockets for daily professional use, but for the price it is honestly impressive. The steel feels substantial, the 12-point ends seat nicely on older hex hardware, and having all 29 metric sizes in shallow depth means no more digging through a jumbled drawer for the one socket I'm missing. My only gripe is the molded case feels a little cheap compared to the sockets themselves, and the latches seem like they'll wear out long before the chrome does. Still, at this price point I'd buy it again without hesitation.

I do most of my own car maintenance and kept running into odd bolt sizes my old set didn't cover. This fills every gap from 10 up through 38 mm. They've handled an impact driver on a few stubborn suspension bolts with no chipping. Docking one star only because the rail clips are a bit loose.

Sockets work fine for general repair work. A couple of the larger sizes showed minor finish imperfections out of the box. Nothing that affects function, just noting it.

Mine arrived with one socket mislabeled, which threw me off mid-project. Tekton support is sending a replacement, but check your sizes before you start a job.
