Bought this for my son's first toolbox and ended up using it myself more than he does. Solid steel, good weight on the ball pein, drivers that don't slip.

The chisels and punches are well made and the foam tray keeps everything visible and protected. After a year of use the strike faces show mushrooming which is normal, though I wish they were slightly harder steel. Still, at 50% off this was one of the best additions to my shop.

I own a lot of GearWrench and this set keeps the standard. The ball pein hammer is perfectly balanced for rivet work and the screwdrivers have that grippy handle I like. The foam tray fits my cabinet drawer exactly.

Everything in the set is well finished and the foam is a nice touch. My only real issue is the ball pein feels a bit light for some jobs — I end up reaching for a bigger hammer. For light metalwork and layout work it's fine.

Gave this to my dad for his birthday. He called me a week later to say the center punch alone was worth the price. He's restored cars since the 70s and doesn't praise tools easily.

I use the chisels for metal marking and the punches for alignment on assemblies. Nothing has chipped or deformed under proper use. The screwdrivers are better than I expected in a striking set. Only wish it included a roll pin punch in one more size.

You can see instantly if something's missing before you close the drawer. Simple idea but it's changed how I keep the shop organized. Tools themselves are high quality too.

The tools are good, honestly. But the foam tray is sized for specific GearWrench cabinets and it doesn't fit my standard drawer, so it just slides around. Had to cut the foam apart, which defeats the purpose for me.
