SKU : DRI-SER-015
Buy the GEARWRENCH 41720 8-Piece Sensor and Sending Socket Set online now for $29.87, discounted from $59.74 — 50% off the specialty socket set used for removing and installing oxygen sensors, oil pressure sending units, and vacuum switches.
This set solves the most common sensor-removal problems: slotted sockets grip wire-side O2 sensor bodies without damaging wires, the low profile offset socket clears tight exhaust manifolds, and deep sockets reach recessed sending units.
Fits oxygen sensors and sending units on a wide range of Chrysler, GM, Ford, and import vehicles — any sensor with 22 mm (7/8") or 1-1/16" hex bodies, with the slotted and offset designs routing sensor wires safely.
Check-engine-light O2 sensor replacement, oil pressure switch service, and vacuum switch removal — jobs that regular sockets crack or round off.
Buying these four specialty sockets individually costs more than the full 8-piece set — at $29.87, the 41720 is the affordable way to own the complete sensor socket solution.
Save 50% at $29.87, stack coupon SAVE15 for an extra 15% off, and add a small item to cross $45 for free shipping.

The GEARWRENCH 41720 covers the three sensor jobs that damage regular sockets: slotted O2 removal with wire routing, low-profile offset access on crowded manifolds, and deep reach for recessed oil pressure units.
Wire-safe slots and offset bodies prevent torn sensor leads and cracked ceramic elements — avoiding repeat purchases and comebacks.

Battled a rusted oxygen sensor on my F-150 with an open-end wrench for an hour before giving up and ordering this set. The slot design cleared the wire cleanly and the cutout let the socket slide right over. Broke the sensor loose on the first pull with my impact. This set paid for itself on the first job.
Used the oil pressure sending socket on my Chevy and it fit like it was made for it, no crushed sensor housing. The sockets are chunky steel and hold up on the impact gun. Only missing a 7/8 size variant for one oddball switch but that's not this set's fault.
Six sensors removed, zero problems. Great set.
The sockets themselves work exactly as advertised — the vacuum switch sockets especially are impossible to improvise with anything else. My complaint is the blow-molded case, which already has a cracked hinge after a few months in the toolbox. I'd buy again, just store the sockets in a pouch instead.
I've been improvising O2 sensor removals with sockets I cut notches into for a decade, which is exactly as fun as it sounds. This GearWrench set has every application socket I've needed across German and domestic cars. The chrome finish wipes clean and they've survived my impact wrench without chipping. At half price it's basically free money for any DIY mechanic.
Bought it mainly for the oil pressure sending unit sockets and they've worked on every job so far. The slots are cleanly cut with no burrs to nick wiring. Nice addition to my 3/8 drive collection.
The 22mm O2 socket chipped along the notch on its very first use with an impact wrench, throwing metal flakes. The other seven pieces seem fine and worked on the oil sender. Maybe mine was heat treated wrong, but I expected better quality control. Exchanging it.
I'm no pro but I do my own repairs on our two aging cars. This set made a job I was dreading — replacing the O2 sensors on my wife's Avalon — into a 20-minute driveway task. The sockets are clearly stamped with sizes so no guessing. Excellent value at the discounted price.
The wire slots are cleanly machined and the walls are thick enough for real torque. Handled a seized sender on a 20-year-old truck without marring. Recommended for anyone touching sensors.
