Every 3/8 inch drive kit needs an L-handle: it breaks loose stubborn bolts with two-hand torque and spins loose fasteners faster than any ratchet, all for $10.00.
Breaker bars cost more and can't angle; ratchets angle but can't wobble or spin fast. The SLH10106 combines torque, speed, and 10-degree access in one affordable tool.
If you already own 3/8 inch drive sockets, this $10.00 purchase multiplies their usefulness. Apply SAVE15 and bundle to $45.00+ for free shipping and maximum savings.

There's not much to an L-handle, but Tekton got the details right. The wobble feature gives just enough angle to reach bolts that a straight socket won't seat on, and the 6-inch length gives real leverage for breaking loose mid-size fasteners. The knurled grip is comfortable when spinning bolts by hand. Mine has been beat around for a year and shows no wobble in the socket end when locked straight.
Grab this one way more often than my ratchet for quick jobs. Smooth wobble, solid fit.
Bought this specifically for the starter bolts on my Civic, which are nearly impossible with a ratchet due to the angle. The 10-degree wobble let me seat the socket and break them loose without removing half the intake. Sits flush and solid. Would recommend to anyone doing similarly annoying jobs.
I've been wrenching since the seventies and sometimes you just want a plain L-handle instead of fiddling with a ratchet direction lever. This one is beefy, the chrome finish cleans up easily, and the wobble joint is tight enough that it doesn't feel floppy yet gives you that angled access when you need it. Reminds me of the tools from back when things were built to last.
Nothing wrong with it — it holds sockets, the wobble pivots, and it hasn't bent. I guess I just underestimated how often I'd still want a ratchet for speed. If you specifically need angled access it's worth having in the drawer, otherwise think about whether you'll actually use it.
Cheap, tough, does exactly what it should. No regrets.
The 6-inch arm is a sweet spot — long enough for torque, short enough for cramped engine bays. The wobble pin feels sturdy and hasn't loosened after a few months of weekend use. The finish has a couple of scuffs already but that's cosmetic. Good little tool for the price.
Changed the spark plugs on my wife's SUV and this handle saved me from disconnecting a bunch of stuff for clearance. Ten degrees doesn't sound like much but it makes all the difference. Bought a second one for my other toolbox.
Worked great at first, but after about two months the wobble pivot developed noticeable play and my sockets now sit at an angle even in straight mode. Light use only, no breaker bar abuse. Might have gotten a bad one.
Every socket set should come with one of these and most don't, so buying it separately makes sense. The grip is comfortable, the spring ball detent holds sockets securely, and the wobble action is smooth. Only reason it's not five stars is I'd love an 8-inch version for more leverage on rusty bolts.
