Tekton DVQ01302 #2 Square Insulated Screwdriver, 4 in. Shank, 1000V Rated

Square #2 fits perfectly and the insulation feels solid. Passed my shop's V-rated check with no issues.

I've been doing residential electrical work for 22 years and this driver holds up as well as drivers costing twice as much. The 1000V rating gives me real peace of mind on live-panel-adjacent work, the square tip engages Robertson screws without camming out, and the 4 inch shank is the sweet spot between reach and control. The grip stays comfortable even after a full day of panel work. Honestly at ten bucks it's a no-brainer.

Solid insulated screwdriver for the money. The handle is a bit chunkier than I expected but the square tip is well machined and the insulation looks quality. Would buy again.

Exactly what I needed for panel work.

It works fine and the insulation is legit, but the tip showed some wear after a few weeks of daily use. Fine for occasional work, maybe not for heavy daily abuse.

My third Tekton insulated driver and they never disappoint. The square tip seated perfectly in my first Robertson screw right out of the package, no burrs or rough edges on the shaft, and the dual-material handle has a nice grip even with sweaty hands. Ordered two more as backups.

Dropped it once on a concrete floor and the handle developed a crack near the collar. Disappointed since insulation integrity matters for this kind of tool. Tekton did offer a replacement under warranty, which is why I'm not going lower.

Been carrying this in my electrician's pouch for two months. No complaints so far.

The insulation goes all the way up the shaft and the handle cushioning is excellent for arthritic hands like mine. My son the electrician recommended Tekton and he was right, as usual. Great little driver at a fair price.
