Working on washing machines and deep cabinet hardware, standard drivers just don't reach. These 8-inch shanks solve that completely. Tips stay engaged on the screw even at that length, which says a lot about the steel. For sixteen bucks this set paid for itself the first job.

These live in my appliance repair kit now. The extra length lets me get to recessed Phillips screws in dryers and dishwashers without disassembling half the unit. Flex is minimal for the length, though there's a little on the #2 under heavy torque. Good buy at half price.

At my age I've collected a lot of screwdrivers over fifty years, and these long-shank ones fill a real gap. Deep-set screws in the furnace and water heater used to be a struggle. Now I just reach for these. Nice comfortable handles too, even for old hands like mine.

The reach is great and the tips fit properly, but I notice some flex in the shank when a screw is really tight. For light-duty deep access work it's fine; just don't expect to break loose seized fasteners with these.

I do service calls and these long Phillips drivers get into air handlers where nothing else reaches. Tips are holding up after months of daily use. Would buy again without hesitation.

Bought these specifically for recessed screws in my truck bed and door hardware. They handle it well. Only wish the set included a #3 for larger fasteners, but the three sizes cover most jobs.

The #1 driver's tip rounded after limited use on brass screws. Disappointed given the brand reputation.
