TEKTON 3/8 Inch Drive x 13/16 Inch Semi-Deep 12-Point Socket (SHD14221)

Bought this 13/16 semi-deep for some heater hose fittings and sensor work on my truck. The semi-deep reach is perfect — long enough to get over the fitting, short enough to stay in tight bays. Finish and fit are both excellent.

Good quality at a good price. Grips well and looks nice in the toolbox. No regrets.

I've been slowly replacing my old mixed-brand sockets with Tekton and this 13/16 continues to justify that decision. The walls are thick where they need to be, the chrome has held up through a greasy summer of use, and the anti-round-off geometry genuinely works. I put a cheater bar on it once out of frustration with a rusted fitting and it didn't show any stress afterward. That's more than I can say for some sockets costing three times as much. Highly recommend.

Quality is fine but 13/16 feels large on a 3/8 drive ratchet. Works well enough, just know you might prefer a 1/2 drive for this size in heavy applications.

The semi-deep profile is exactly right for my needs. Reached over a bolt with threads protruding where my shallow sockets bottomed out. Great product.

Accurate sizing, nice finish, good value. Arrived quickly and has handled everything I've thrown at it so far.

Needed this size for large 12-point fasteners on an industrial pump housing. Broke loose corroded hardware at serious torque and the socket came through unscathed. The etched size marking was still readable even after getting covered in cutting fluid. Very impressed with the build quality at this price.
