GearWrench 893823 23-Piece 3/8" Drive Pass-Thru 6-Point SAE/Metric Mechanics Tool Set

Been wrenching on my own trucks for 30 years and this set does the job of three sockets and a wrench. The pass-thru design gets me into tight spots nothing else could reach. Thin head, smooth ratchet, solid steel. Should have bought it years ago.

I'm not a pro, just fix my own cars on weekends, and this set has handled everything so far. Brake jobs, alternator swap, even exhaust bolts. The case keeps everything organized which I appreciate. Only wish it came with a few more metric sizes but honestly for the price you can't beat it. The ratcheting wrenches feel sturdy and the 6-point grip hasn't rounded a single bolt head yet.

Quality feels legit GearWrench, ratchets are smooth and the thin heads are clutch for cramped work. Docking a star because the case latch pops open if it tips over. Otherwise very happy.

Tools themselves are fine and the pass-thru idea works well. The molded case feels flimsy though and a couple sockets were hard to remove at first. Works okay overall.

Bought this for light home repairs at age 68 and it's easy on my hands. The ratcheting action takes very little wrist movement, which matters more than it used to. Sizes are clearly marked, no squinting required.

I use this daily in my garage for small engine repair. It's held up for six months of constant abuse with zero play in the ratchets. The SAE and metric coverage means I grab this one case instead of digging through the big box. Best tool purchase this year, hands down.

The 10mm pass-thru socket fit great but one of the ratchets skipped under load right out of the box. GearWrench warranty is replacing it, but still annoying for a new set.
