Threading is so much faster now

Used this to chase threads on some old bolts and to cut fresh threads in a steel bracket. The ratcheting action saves so much time compared to a regular tap wrench, no more constantly repositioning your grip. The 5-inch handle gives good leverage and the small size gets into tight spots my bigger tap wrench can't reach.

Handy little tool

Works exactly as advertised. Holds taps securely and the ratchet mechanism feels solid. Takes a minute to get used to switching direction but it's well worth it.

Fine for small taps

Good for the smaller tap sizes it's designed for. The ratchet is smooth and the handle is comfortable. Just make sure you understand it's the small version — my 1/4 inch taps fit but anything bigger you'll want the large adapter.
