The Tekton WSE14345 1-3/4 inch service wrench is a short-handled access wrench with a 15° angled open end on one side and a drive square on the other, made for tight-space fastening on fittings and fasteners a full wrench can't reach. It's the best-fit tool for mechanics, plumbers, and industrial techs building out a system of access wrenches. At the current $18.50 sale price (compare at $37.00 — a 50% discount), it's an affordable Made-in-USA purchase — order online now and apply the SAVE15 coupon for extra savings.
The drive square in the handle end of the WSE14345 works with a ratchet, breaker bar, or torque wrench for added leverage and torque control, secured by detent grooves on all four sides. Tekton makes service wrench sizes with either 3/8" or 1/2" drive squares depending on the wrench size — check the spec table for the WSE14345's exact drive square before adding to cart.
The WSE14345 complements Tekton's access wrench system — crowfoot, flare nut crowfoot, and angle head wrenches — and the drive square pairs with your existing 1/2" drive ratchets and torque wrenches.

Tekton builds the WSE14345 entirely in Grand Rapids, Michigan from USA-sourced 4140 steel, hardened to 50-53 HRC, then vibration-polished and nickel-plated for corrosion resistance. Few access wrenches at this price can claim that pedigree.
Tekton service wrenches include a drive square sized to the wrench — sizes from 3/4" to 1-1/2" typically use 3/8" drive, while larger sizes like the 1-3/4" WSE14345 use 1/2" drive. Confirm on the spec table before ordering.

Service wrenches are short-handled with a much thinner jaw (33%-46% leaner here) for tight access, plus a drive square for leverage — combination wrenches are longer but bulkier in confined spaces.
At $18.50 for a USA-made 4140 steel wrench, it undercuts most crowfoot and angle head alternatives — and the SAVE15 coupon makes it even more affordable.
1-3/4 inch open end fits large fittings my regular wrenches can't touch. The 15 degree angle and drive square give you options in tight spots. Heavy, well-forged, clearly American made.
Keeps this in the truck for hydraulic fittings and implement work. Half inch breaker bar drops into the drive square and breaks loose stuck nuts without bending the wrench. Should have bought one years ago.
Machining on the open end is clean and it fits fasteners snugly without rounding. It's a specialty tool so I don't use it often, but when I need it, nothing else works. Good price for USA made.
Heavy, precise, and built like the old tools.
Quality is there, no complaints about the wrench itself. Just note that 1-3/4 inch is a pretty specific size, so measure your fasteners before ordering. Works great on my pump fittings.
Thirty years in the trade and this is now my go-to for large flush valves and flanges. The angled head saves my knuckles in cramped mechanical rooms. Finish is smooth enough to wipe clean after dirty jobs.
No doubt it's well made, and the drive square is a clever touch. It is a handful to swing all day though. For occasional use it's perfect.
Expected an import-quality tool at this price point but got proper USA forging with tight tolerances. Used it on some corroded municipal fittings and it did not slip once. Ordered a second one for the shop.
The wrench itself seems fine, but I misjudged the size and it doesn't fit anything I own. Not the seller's fault. Returning it.
The combination of open end and drive square makes this way more versatile than a standard big wrench. Broke loose a fitting last week that had been rusted since the nineties. Fits perfectly in the toolbox drawer too.
