Tekton SID91111 3/8 Inch Drive Deep Impact Socket Set, 12-Piece Metric (8–19 mm)

Every size I need from 8 to 19mm in one set. The deep walls reach recessed bolts on my suspension work without extensions half the time.

Sockets are excellent, no complaints there. The case latch feels cheap and I could see it popping open in a toolbox drawer. Still five stars for the sockets themselves... okay, four.

Rusted brake caliper bolts, corroded axle nuts, seized exhaust flanges — these sockets handled everything my impact gun dished out. No rounding, no cracking.

Tough sockets, great price.

Nothing wrong with the quality, but I do mostly automotive work needing 19mm and up more often. The 8-19mm range is great for lighter mechanic work and appliance repair though. Keep that in mind before buying.

I wrench on the side and these go head to head with my Snap-on neighbors' sets in daily use. The 1.3x ANSI rating is legit — I've cracked bolts loose that stalled my buddy's chrome sockets. The 6-point walls grip fasteners hard with no play on the drive. Laser markings are still readable after a year of shop grime. Highly recommend for anyone building a real impact set.

Bought these for brake and suspension jobs on the family cars. Deep sockets are essential for those long bolts. Nice heft to them, clearly quality steel.

Twelve metric sizes for thirty bucks is hard to beat. The black finish shrugs off oil and they haven't rusted in my humid garage. Fit on the drive is snug with no wobble.

The 14mm developed a crack after about a year of occasional use. Tekton's warranty replacement was easy, so credit there, but still disappointing.

The deep reach is a game changer for spark plug access on my truck and for bolts seated in recesses. Sizes etched large enough to read without my glasses, which my wife finds hilarious. They've absorbed thousands of impact cycles with no visible wear. This is my third Tekton socket set and the quality has been consistent across all of them. Absolutely worth full price, and a steal on sale.
