TEKTON SID14107 3/8 Inch Drive x 7 mm Semi-Deep 6-Point Impact Socket

This 7 mm size fits clutch and cover bolts on my bikes perfectly. The semi-deep length clears the studs where my shallow sockets won't. Excellent quality for the price.

Needed just this one size to fill a gap. It's impact rated, fits tight, and the black finish seems tough. For $5.99 I can't complain. Knocking off one star only because the etched size marking is a bit hard to read in the garage.

You don't think much about a 7 mm socket until you need one and don't have it in impact grade. This one has survived dozens of impact-gun sessions on small metric fasteners without any sign of cracking or wear. The 6-point corners grab properly even on fasteners that have been out in the weather for years. The semi-deep well is handy for bolts on pulleys and brackets. TEKTON keeps sizes marked clearly which saves me digging through the drawer.

It's a socket. Fits 7 mm bolts, works with my impact driver. No complaints but nothing amazing either.

Walls are thick, the drive square is snug in my ratchet, and the semi-deep profile solves the reach problem on recessed small bolts. I ordered a second one as a spare.

Measured with calipers and it seemed a hair oversized, felt loose on good fasteners. Swap was easy though and the replacement fits better.
