TEKTON SIB14227 3/8 Inch Drive x T27 Torx Impact Bit Socket, Two-Piece Pressed Design

The T27 deck screws on my trailer were half stripped and painted over. This socket on my impact driver backed out all 40 of them without further damage to the heads. The two-piece pressed design shows no wobble after the job. For $5.50 I bought a second one as backup.

No cam-out, held up to my impact gun. Great little socket.

Fit on Torx hardware is precise with minimal play and the black oxide finish still looks new after a season of use. I mostly use it for brake caliper brackets and it's taken plenty of impact torque without the bit loosening in the socket. Only wish it came in more sizes locally, but that's not this product's fault.

Does what an impact bit socket should do. Fit is good, no issues after a few uses. Nothing special to write home about but nothing wrong either.

The T27 bit from my budget multi-pack rounded off in ten minutes on an impact. This Tekton has done a dozen brake jobs and a fence build and still grabs the fasteners like day one. The press-fit joint between socket and bit hasn't shown any play. Will buy more sizes in this line.

Machining is clean and the Torx engagement is snug. Used it for deck screws all weekend on an impact driver with zero stripping. Keep in mind T27 is a slightly odd size so double-check your hardware before ordering, but the tool itself is great.

Torx everywhere on these bikes and this socket handles the caliper and cover bolts without a hitch. On my impact gun it just works, no bit walk, no loosening. At this price every mechanic should have one in the box.

Started great but the pressed bit developed wobble after a few weeks of shop use and now it cams out on tight bolts. Maybe I got a bad one but expected better from this brand.

Arrived fast, fits my 3/8 impact perfectly, backed out rusted Torx bolts with ease. Five stars, would buy again.

I use this for furniture assembly work with hidden Torx fasteners and it has made jobs much faster than hand tools. The steel seems properly hardened, no rounding after months. Good value for a single purpose tool.
