Tekton SHB91304 3/8 Inch Drive Hex Bit Socket Set, 36-Piece Standard and Long (1/8-3/8 in., 3-10 mm)

Standard and long versions of each bit means I'm covered no matter how recessed the fastener is. Polished chrome sockets look great and wipe clean easily.

Zero complaints. Well made, well organized.

I had bits scattered across three different kits before buying this. Now everything lives in one molded case with clear labels. The S2 bits have survived deck screws, brake components, and appliances without any rounding. Press-fit construction means nothing has loosened in over a year of use. Should have bought this sooner.

Bits are hardened properly and the chrome is flawless. My only issue is the case tabs feel like they could snap if dropped. Otherwise a top-tier set for the price.

Honestly I only use maybe a third of these sizes, but having the full range means no trips to the store mid-project. Build quality is consistent across the set.

I wrench on cars as a hobby and these handle everything from interior trim hex bolts to engine brackets. The long bits reach into my wife's SUV's deep wheel wells. Sockets turn smoothly on extensions without play. This is my third Tekton set and they've all been excellent.

36 pieces, half the price of the big brands, same performance. Can't beat it.

The 4mm bit chipped on a stuck bolt. Others have been fine, and Tekton's warranty process was painless, but still disappointing.

Using these with a ratchet instead of hand hex keys has cut my assembly time in half. Sizes are clearly marked. Standard and long variants both get regular use.

Bought this for my son-in-law who's getting into woodworking. He says it's the most-used tool in his shop now. Might grab one for myself.
