Tekton PLR99202 Gripping, Cutting, and Locking Pliers Set, 10-Piece with Organizer Rack

I've been a hobbyist mechanic for twenty years and this set replaced three mismatched pliers I'd been babying along. The slip joint, groove joint, and locking pliers all clamp down hard without slipping, and the cutters slice through cotter pins and zip ties cleanly. Bought this set to round out my garage tools. The locking pliers are my favorite — the release lever is smooth and they hold onto rusted bolts without chewing them up. Only minor complaint is the cutting pliers needed a quick wipe of oil out of the box, but they work great now. The rack fits nicely on my shelf too.

Functionally everything works — the jaws align, the locking pliers clamp well, cutters are sharp. The machining marks on some of the pliers are visible and the rack feels a little flimsy for holding ten tools. Still a decent value at the sale price, just not quite the fit and finish of my premium hand tools.
