The TEKTON PGP36010 10 Inch Pliers Wrench replaces multiple wrench sizes with quick-adjusting, self-clamping parallel jaws. At just $30.00—half the $60 compare-at price—buy online today and save big.
Flat, parallel jaws self-clamp as you apply force to the top handle, gripping nuts, fittings, and parts without rounding. Slim, lightweight design improves tight-space access and reduces fatigue during overhead or extended-reach work.
Press the domed button and slide the handle to any of 13 locked positions—no threaded screw adjustment to fumble with.
Four rounded teeth on the button interlock with slots on both sides of the grooved track, holding the setting under heavy force.
Each position includes extra jaw travel so you can open or close slightly without changing positions—no constant re-setting.
The top handle acts as a lever pushing the floating jaw along a channel, maintaining even pressure between parallel clamping surfaces.
A full 2-inch capacity grips a wide range of nuts, fittings, and parts that would otherwise require several wrench sizes.
Plumbing fittings, hex and flat fasteners, soft-metal parts that must not be marred, flat stock bending, and HVAC work—anywhere channel-lock style grip would round corners.
Compared to groove-joint pliers, the PGP36010's parallel flat jaws won't round fasteners. Compared to adjustable wrenches, it self-clamps and won't loosen mid-turn. Note: replacement springs and spring-related parts should be sourced through Tekton's product support for the PGP36010.

Unlike groove-joint pliers, the flat parallel jaws won't round fasteners; unlike adjustable wrenches, it self-clamps and won't loosen while turning.
A full 2 inches, covering a wide range of nuts, fittings, and parts that would otherwise require several separate wrench sizes.
The push-button adjustment is the feature I didn't know I needed. Thirteen positions, no more fighting a slip joint to find the right width, and the flat jaws grab hex nuts without rounding them. Used it on some stubborn hydraulic fittings last week and it clamped down like a wrench. Best $30 I've spent on hand tools in a while.
Works great for nuts and fittings. Just be aware the jaws can leave marks on softer finishes, so I keep a rag between the jaws for chrome pieces. Adjustment is smooth and it feels beefy in the hand.
Does exactly what it should. Highly recommend.
I've used Knipex pliers wrenches at work for years and this Tekton is a very close copy at half the price. The parallel jaws don't slip, the push button is quick, and the 2-inch capacity handled the 50mm PVC locknuts on my sump pump install. Fit and finish is clean, the chrome hasn't chipped, and the dip grip is comfortable even with sweaty hands. If Tekton keeps making tools like this I'll keep buying them.
The adjustment button was really stiff the first few days and it took some working in before it moved smoothly. Once broken in it's fine and the jaws hold well. Wish there was less break-in time for the price.
Bought this for plumbing work and now it lives on my bench. The self-clamping action is genuinely useful — squeeze once and it stays gripped on the fitting without you having to keep pressure on the handles, which matters a lot when your hands are tired or greasy. The 10-inch length gives good leverage on 1-1/2 inch nuts. Nothing negative to report after a couple months.
The jaws don't meet perfectly parallel on mine, there's a small gap at the tip when closed. Works okay on larger fasteners but frustrating for precision work. Tekton support offered a replacement, so credit to their service, but quality control could be better.
No complaints really. Feels heavier than expected which to me means quality. Opens wide enough for anything I do around the house.
I'm 68 and have bought Channellocks my whole life. My grandson talked me into trying this. Wish these existed 40 years ago — the push button is easy on my arthritic thumbs and the jaws don't slip off nuts like tongue-and-groove pliers do. Bought a second one for the truck.
Fast shipping, good steel, comfortable grip. The 13 positions make finding the right jaw width easy. Only knock is the button takes two hands when your hands are full of grease. Solid buy overall.
