The Tekton KTX31250 1/4 Inch Hex T-Handle Key is the fastest, most comfortable way to drive 1/4 inch hex fasteners, made for mechanics, assemblers, and DIYers who want speed without stripping. At just $9.00, it's an easy add-on purchase — and coupon SAVE15 cuts another 15% off.
Heat-treated 8660 steel delivers hardness without brittleness. Hex geometry is measured point-to-point and side-to-side for dimensional accuracy that protects fastener corners. The large contoured molded handle spins freely and applies torque from multiple grip positions.
Size is marked three ways — high-visibility laser marking, stamped marking, and a painted inset that can't wear off — so the right key is always in hand.
Compared to standard L-keys, the T-handle gives faster spinning and better torque transfer. Compared to generic T-keys, Tekton's dual-tolerance control and 8660 steel make the $9.00 price an affordable value that outlasts bargain imports.

Yes — the flat end is machined to tight point-to-point and side-to-side tolerances for exact fit in standard 1/4 in. hex socket fasteners.
The molded T-handle lets you spin the key quickly for speed and apply higher torque comfortably from multiple positions — faster and easier than an L-key.
The T-handle lets you spin hex screws in and out way faster than a standard L-key. The molded grip doesn't dig into your palm during long assembly sessions. Flat end seats deep and hasn't rounded after heavy use on furniture projects.
Great handle, great steel. Assembly work goes twice as fast.
The 8660 steel feels tough and the tip still fits snug after dozens of uses. My only note is the handle is a bit large for small hands. Otherwise a perfect quick-turn driver for shop furniture and fixtures.
No quality complaints — steel is solid, grip is comfortable. Just remember a T-handle won't fit into recessed spots the way a folding key does. Fine for open work.
Liked the first one so much I ordered another so my helper and I aren't passing it back and forth. The flat end engages fully and there's no wobble. Turned hundreds of 1/4 hex bolts on playset hardware without a hint of wear.
My wrist thanks me. The T-grip spreads the torque instead of concentrating it in your fingers, and the molded handle has just the right amount of give. Solid tool for anyone doing repetitive hex fastening.
Steel is fine but the molded handle developed a crack near the shaft after a season of use. Disappointing for a Tekton.
