18 inches gets you deep into engine bays and behind appliances where nothing else fits. Used it to reach a clamp screw inside my dryer vent duct — impossible with a normal screwdriver.

Finally a Phillips that doesn't cam out of my motorcycle carburetor screws. The JIS-compatible tip engages properly and I haven't rounded a single screw head. Bought it just for the bike but use it constantly.

The 18-inch shank is exactly what I needed for furnace work. There's a little flex when you really torque on it, which is actually handy for feel but takes getting used to. Manganese phosphate finish has held up fine.

Didn't think I'd use long shafts much. I use them weekly now. Reaching deep recesses is so much easier.

Bought it for reaching down inside a machine at work and it does that perfectly. But honestly it's a two-trick pony — the length makes it awkward for everyday stuff. Keeping it in the toolbox for when normal screwdrivers can't reach.

I'm 63 and picky about hand tools after decades of buying junk. These have the old-school feel — solid shank, tips that fit properly, finish that doesn't rust. The long reach got me into the back of my washing machine without disconnecting anything. Reminds me of the drivers my father had, but better steel.

Had a blower screw buried 14 inches into the housing. Nothing in my box could reach it. This did in 30 seconds. Wish it came in a flat case but no complaints otherwise. The phosphate coating wipes clean easily.

My fault for not checking, but 18 inches is genuinely hard to store and control for small work. If you need serious reach it's probably great, but for general use it's unwieldy. Rating based on fit for my needs.
