I'm 58 and brake jobs were starting to take a toll on my back, crouching by the wheel well all day. This stool adjusts to just the right height, swivels smoothly, and the padded seat is comfortable even after a couple hours of work. Assembly took ten minutes. Best shop upgrade I've bought in years.

Sturdy enough to scoot around on without tipping. Wish it went a couple inches lower for under-car work but at 26" minimum it's still usable. Great value at half off.

Swivels like a dream and the height adjustment is rock solid with no sinking.

The height range is perfect for wheel work and the swivel action is smooth. My only gripe is the padding is firmer than I expected, so after a long session I feel it a bit. Put a cushion on it and it's five stars.

Got this on the 50% off deal and it's honestly better than stools I've used costing twice as much. The casters roll easily on concrete, the gas cylinder holds my weight without dropping, and assembly was straightforward. I use it for brakes, detailing, and even as extra seating.

I do detailing work and being able to spin around the car without standing up constantly has sped up my jobs a lot. The padding has held up for several months so far.

The stool itself is comfortable and the height adjustment works well, but one of the casters started sticking after a couple months of use. It makes rolling around annoying. GearWrench support is sending a replacement part which is appreciated, so I'm giving it a shot.

As someone who spends weekends working on motorcycles, having a seat at the right height changes everything. It's stable, the swivel is fluid, and my 240 lbs sits on it with no complaints from the stool.
