Chrome moly impact sockets that take a beating from my IR gun all day. The 6-point design grips worn fasteners way better than my old 12-point set. At 56% off this was a steal for a full SAE range in standard and deep.
These have survived months of farm equipment repair, including rusty axle nuts that needed the big gun. No cracks, no rounding. The laser etchings are still readable, which matters when your hands are filthy.
Sockets themselves are top notch, hardened and grip well. The case feels flimsy for pro use, so I dumped them into a metal box. Wouldn't dock more than a star for that.
Finally replaced my mismatched pile of impacts with this set. Deep wells reach past studs without issue and off-corner loading really does save rusty heads. Excellent value.
Sockets perform well but the size markings are hard to read at a glance in bad lighting. Function is fine, just wish the labels popped more.
I'm a hobbyist with a decent impact wrench and these handle everything I throw at them. Cheaper than name-brand sets but no visible compromise in quality so far.
Most of the set is fine but the 3/4 cracked on a stubborn bolt about two months in. Gearwrench support is supposedly replacing it, we'll see. Expected better.
I've been rebuilding a '72 Chevelle and this set has done everything from suspension bolts to the rear end. The black finish still looks new and nothing has rounded off. For $78 this set is a no-brainer.
