GEARWRENCH 83151 3 Drawer Steel Tool Box, 20-Inch, Black

I honestly expected thin tin with sticky drawers for thirty bucks. Instead I got beefy steel, smooth ball bearing slides, and a keyed lock that actually works. Loaded the drawers with wrenches and sockets, threw it in the truck bed, and everything stayed put. This thing punches way above its price.

The drawers glide nicely and the lock secures all three at once. It's not showroom-grade steel, it does flex slightly if you really lean on it, but for a portable 20-inch box that's expected. Very happy overall.

Bought it for my son's first real tool set. He loves it. Drawers are smooth and the lock gives me peace of mind.

You get a lot for the money here. Ball bearing slides are the highlight and they work well. However the steel is noticeably thinner than my old Kennedy box and the powder coat scratched when I slid a ratchet across it. Fine as a secondary box, not sure I'd trust it as my only storage.

Snagged this during the sale and it replaced a plastic stackable mess. The drawers hold a surprising amount of weight — I've got a full socket set, wrenches, and pliers in there with no sag. The keyed center lock is convenient when I leave it in the garage overnight. Overall finish is clean black and looks professional. Highly recommend.

Rides in my work van and takes the vibration fine. Latch is secure and drawers don't creep open on bumpy roads. Wish the top handle was rubberized but that's minor.

One of the three drawers binds halfway through its travel and you have to lift it to close it. Looks like the track was welded slightly off. Customer service has been responsive so far, but I'm disappointed I have to deal with a return on something so simple.
